DarkToLight: "Do you ever find that patients cause difficulty during treatment because you're an elf?"

The emotional state of a patient is often quite volatile. I have had numerous cases of patients refusing to cooperate or throwing a fit. It's not uncommon for them to bring up the fact that I am an elf. I don't believe that 's why they are upset, however. In most cases, it's just the situation they're in -- their condition, illness, injury, whatever it is that has brought them to the hospital. Even when they want me to think it's because I'm an elf, even when they themselves believe it, only rarely is it the core of the issue.

First question: What inspired you to enter the medical field? Was there also a particular person that inspired you to do so?"

The study of medicine has always been an object of fascination for me. I have an uncle who is a surgeon; I am not sure if he had been much of an inspiration, although he did let me read his books on the subject.

Kittymaverick: "Why the scarf? You're never seen without one!"

Praxis. The same reason why we wear underwears.

Kittymaverick: "What are your opinions of the Elf Rights Activists? Do you have any interactions (be it friendly or hostile) with them?"

They seem to believe that they can solve all of my problems, end poverty, and bring world peace.

Kittymaverick: "How do you drive? Is your car modified, or is it, um....an Elf friendly brand?"

I put a cushion between the seat and my back.

Yangchen: "Is your father still alive? If yes, how is your reletionship with him? If no, when did he pass away?"

He's still alive. I called him on Thanksgiving.

Yangchen: "Do you believe that the puplic opinion on elves eventually will change? Are you looking forward to that moment?"

No part of the society will remain the same forever. It would certainly be nice to compete in a world that does not discriminate, but situations could always change for worse instead... And I have to admit, there is a sense of fulfillment in knowing that I have come this far in spite of the hardships.

zenaiko: "What do you think about Alberich?"

....He's quite the character, with a unique way of weaving his words. I prefer to save the rest till I can tell him in his face.

zenaiko: "What are your favorite foods?"

Noodles and stews.

zenaiko: "Being the adorable little guy that you are, do find it hard or easy to get dates?"

I have no need for dates, especially with anyone who might take romantic interest in an elf. That, to me, is borderline sexual deviance.
